Job Description PeopleMed a division of All About People is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/20/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Must reside 75 miles from facility Unit Name/Type of unit: Neuro ICU Stepdown. TCU. Selling points for the unit: Good Culture. We will work with schedules. Treating like core staff. beds/procedures: 42. Patient ratio: 4:1 OR 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing. Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? YES Top diagnosis/procedures: Stroke, Transplant, PD. Common equipment used: Dynamaps, Bladder Scanner, Doppler. Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Drips – Insulin (DKA and GMAT), Cardizem, Nitro for BP, heparin, Amio, Pulmonary HTN Drips. Common medications given: Most regular meds.
