Job Description Essential Duties/Responsibilities Ensuring all packages submitted for shipment during the day are done using the most economical means Shipments must reach recipients by the dates requested Regular attendance and punctuality Ensuring all packages for shipment are ready to go, packaged, and labeled properly by deadlines Check received items against the packing list Assistance in making sure all items received during the day are distributed by end of day Ability to assess situations and prioritize tasks to meet requirements Work with shipping vendors to enhance shipping process Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Able to handle up to 50 lbs Typing/keyboarding experience Coordination of tasks and prioritization Flexible in types of duties that need to be done Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship The ideal candidate would possess: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Additional Information Compensation: $18.00/hour Schedule: 2nd shift 4pm -12:30am What we offer: Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Eurofins USA Genomic Services is a Disabled and Veteran Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
