Job Description:
SUMMARYUnder the supervision of the assigned Assistant Director
provides holistic, comprehensive services to OASIS residential
clients, nonresidential clients, and their children.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned.Provides direct service to and support to
families.Works with Youth Advocacy case manager and Counseling
Manager to conduct planned youth activities.Coordinates and
conducts age-appropriate groups for adolescents, teens, and
college-aged individuals.Assists clients and children in
establishing a safety plan, identifying goals, and locating
resources to achieve them.Provides individual and group counseling
services for OASIS clients/children as outlined in the KCADV Victim
Service Standards and the Cabinet for Human Resources KY Agency
Regulations.Provides services to promote family
self-sufficiency.Coordinates client needs with appropriate
staff.Responds to crisis calls; provide information and referrals
as needed.Completes client intakes, assessments, and exits
according to OASIS Policies and Procedures.Maintains daily contact
sheet and other documentation as required.Maintains client files as
outlined in OASIS Policies and Procedures.Provides information,
referrals, crisis intervention, and advocacy services for program
participants.Documents and makes appropriate reports to the Cabinet
for Health and Family ServicesAttends case reviews, in-services,
training, and staff meetings as assigned.Performs public speaking
duties; represents agency in community or interagency
activities.Participates in on-call rotation as requiredProvides
agency services to hospitals, social service agencies, schools, and
law enforcement agencies.Maintains a county resource
directory.Facilitates client entries to campus and provides
follow-up client services upon exit.Transfers phone lines to campus
when the office is unattended.Performs other duties as
assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an

EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field or
equivalent experience.Computer data entry skills.LANGUAGE
SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business
periodicals, financial reports, professional journals, technical
procedures, or governmental regulations and legal documents.
Ability to write words, business correspondence, procedure manuals,
speeches, and articles for publication that conform to prescribed
style and format. Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from supervisors, clients, fellow employees,
and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to apply concepts
of basic math and algebra.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve
practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or
schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust meet
certification standards as outlined by the KCADV as directed by the
supervisor.Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Kentucky Driver's
License.First Aid Certification.Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
