providers at more than 20 locations, 3 outpatient facilities, a
certified medical fitness facility, a surgical weight loss center
and the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. We are continually

Growing together.This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday
- Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of
our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of
7:00am - 5:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to
work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2200 E. Parish
Ave, Owensboro, KY 42303. We offer 4-6 weeks of onsite
training.*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to
UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Primary
Responsibilities:
- Schedules appointment times using computerized scheduling
programs.
- May communicate with physicians and other healthcare team
members to ensure availability of facilities and staff.
- Communicates with patients and/or their families to provide
necessary pre-procedure instructions and/or to confirm
appointments.
- Performs insurance verification and/or pre-authorizations as
necessary.
- May be responsible for managing the referral work queue,
entering patient demographic information, and scanning documents
into an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- May correspond with referring providers and/or patients for
reports, information exchange, scheduling, xrays, and
paperwork.
- May provide administrative support for Physicians or Nurse
Practitioners.The pace is fast, so your ability to multi-task is

communication skills necessary to build strong relationships with

in.Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday between 7:00am -
5:30pm CST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime
given the business need
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this

doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth

Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related work experience, including data entry
- Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical
terminology
- ICD 9 or 10 and CPT coding experienceTelecommuting
