Job Description Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and verifying Web, API, and database platforms and creating test plans. Duties include writing and executing test scripts, analyzing results, tracking defects, and reporting outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience testing web-based and API systems and possess strong attention to detail. We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven individual who is willing to go the extra mile to meet expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements - Skills:

• Familiarity with testing REST and SOAP APIs, understanding of API testing best practices, and experience using tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with database testing, including data validation and performance testing.
• Understanding of log analysis and the ability to troubleshoot issues by reviewing log files.
• Experience with test management tools like Jira or TestRail. Minimum Requirements - Experience:
  • At least 4 years of work experience in software development and testing.
  • Must have hands-on experience designing and executing functional, GUI, and API tests.- Have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, efficient testing strategies, and modern best practices.
  • Understanding of all phases of SDLC (specifically Agile/SCRUM environment).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and debug issues to get to the root cause.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and management.
  • US citizens as the position will be required to handle PHI data, only accessible to US Citizens.
