Kentucky Wesleyan College, a private, liberal arts college with a long-standing reputation for quality and academic excellence, is seeking applications for a part-time Director of Student Health Services to join our community and to delivery primary healthcare and wellness education to the College s students. The Director work approximately 25 hours per week during the academic year and reduced hours during the summer.Major ResponsibilitiesAssessing, treating, and monitoring students with health problems, issues, and concerns, which may include dispensing over the counter medication and referring students to area providers.Updating and maintaining accurate health and insurance records on students while complying with health regulations (e.g., HIPAA).Managing supplies for student health services.Developing and implementing health education and wellness programs and activities for students as indicated by the students needs and the College s requests.Developing and utilizing internal and external resources to provide educational programs and care.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in primary health care and emergency care.Maintaining profession liability insurance coverage.QualificationsRegistered Nurse.Previous experience in providing primary care.Ability to relate to students and the rest of the campus community.Bachelor of Science in Nursing and previous health education experience are preferred.Application ProcessTo apply, complete the online application at Kentucky Wesleyan College is an equal opportunity employer.Review of application materials will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
