Position: Conveyor Operator

Location: Owensboro, KY

Summary:

Conveyor operators are responsible for all conveyor belt operations involved in the process of unloading aggregate from barges. Operators are also required to perform general maintenance of conveyor systems including but not limited to preventative maintenance, adjusting tension rollers, aligning rollers, replacing rollers, assist in belt splicing and defective mechanical parts replacement.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of conveyor belt systems and their components
• Driver's License is required
• Ability to observe and identify malfunction in the conveyor system before downtime incidents occur
• Ability to correctly track a conveyor belt
• Ability to use computer-based applications for tracking tonnages
• Ability to follow written and oral commands
