Job Description:
Clean Harbors, North America’s leading provider of environmental
services, is seeking a seasoned CDL EO/Driver II to join our
Louisville team. This role is essential in our mission to provide
safe and sustainable emergency response, waste disposal, and
industrial cleaning services. As a CDL EO/Driver II, you will
operate heavy equipment and drive trucks that require a Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL). You will also play a crucial role in
managing assignments that involve hazardous waste hauling and
emergency response tasks. Our drivers ensure that all work
performed adheres strictly to government regulations and company
safety policies, helping us to protect the environment and
community health. Operate heavy equipment and vehicles in
compliance with company and safety regulations. Transport hazardous
and non-hazardous waste while adhering to local, state, and federal
regulations. Ensure the proper loading and unloading of materials;
manage logistics and documentation for waste tracking. Execute
daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Respond promptly
to emergencies and maintain readiness for immediate dispatch.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports as
required by the company and regulatory agencies. Proficient in
operating heavy vehicles and equipment. Strong understanding of DOT
and safety regulations. Excellent driving record and ability to
navigate various driving conditions. Ability to manage and complete
paperwork accurately and on time. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. DOT
Physical Examination (Medical card). OSHA Hazardous Waste
Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification is
preferred.
