Human Resources GeneralistWe are interviewing HR Generalists.
This opening is for the plant in the Owensboro, KY area. In this
position you would support the department with implementation and
administration of programing and strategies.If interested in

metals production.Job ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resource Generalist
focuses on employee-relations issues. A "best fit" candidate would
be comfortable advising and assisting in the coordination of
resolutions using specific policy-related and procedural inquiries.

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
- Three or more years of experience in HR (heavy industry
preferred)
- Strong Proficiency in technical and organizational skills
- Effective in communicating with others (verbal, written, and
relational)
- Proficiency with computers and software used to increase
quality and productivity.Responsibilities
- Supports the HR team with administration and implementation of
initiatives, policies, processes, and practices of performance
management, compensation and benefits, compliance, etc.
- Conducts investigations, when necessary, into any complaints
brought forward such as sexual harassment allegations,
discrimination charges, disputes, and other sensitive issues.
- Responsible for hourly recruitment and hiring including
writing/placing ads; screening resumes; scheduling interviews;
leading panel interviews; advising candidates and hiring managers
about recruitment and selection practices and requirements;
maintaining accurate records; and conducting background
checks.
- Work with supervisors and managers in the termination process
to exit the employee properly, confirming all necessary paperwork
is completed and issued at termination, conducting exit interviews
and report the answers and issues/trends to HR Manager.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers
concerning contract and policy administration, disciplinary actions
(including termination) and other matters to ensure equitably and
consistent treatment within company policies.
- Responsible for the orientation of new hires by familiarizing
them with company culture, policies, and team members through the
New Hire Orientation program.
- Support team in trainings if needed such as safety
initiatives.Compensation and BenefitsThe total compensation is
based a experience and qualifications. This position is exempt with
a compensation of $60,000 to $75,000. Benefits are comparable to
