How you’ll make an impact in this role Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers Primary Care is seeking a Full Time Primary Care physician to join our team in Waverly, TN. Position Highlights: Rural Health Clinic seeing patients of all ages Typical work schedule is M - F 7:30 - 4:30 Hospital call split 1:3 for with 2 other primary care physician in the community (this will reduce in the future as additional hospitalist are contracted) Performing routine medical procedures, exams, screening /preventive services and immunizations Working directly with 2 APPs in the clinic that have their own panel of patients Prefer experience in a rural medicine practice and someone who is a good team player Clinic is located on the Hospital Campus with easy access About Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Group: When you join Ascension Medical Group (AMG), you are entering a community where physician and advanced practice provider engagement and experience is recognized as a key driver of delivering excellent patient care. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
