Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 13.5 hours (645 AM - 715 PM) Experience: 2 years of acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong assessment skills, sound independent decision-making, plan of care development, collaboration Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members. The RN assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care.
