development, collaboration Description: A professional nurse is
accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered
Nurse focuses on safe, effective patient and family-centered care,
customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible
for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN
promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based
practice and education. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed
staff members. The RN assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates
the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comfort,
education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and

assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as

the plan of care. Reviews and revises the care plan as indicated.
Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary
