Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Evansville, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Step Down Specialty: RN Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 13.5 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: Experience in medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgery Description: This position is located in a dedicated Stroke Unit. The unit has 30 beds. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:4. Candidates should have a strong background in the required specialties. Effective communication skills are essential for collaboration with the healthcare team. Strong critical thinking skills are necessary for patient care in a step-down setting. Candidates should be prepared to handle a variety of patient needs and conditions. Experience in an intermediate care setting is preferred.
