Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Neuro RN in Louisville, Kentucky, 40202! Pay Information
$2,292 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession:
Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License
Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: PCU
experience Description: No Block Scheduling Position. Role: RN
specialty in Neuro PCU. Number of Openings: 1. Shift hours are from
6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Weekly guaranteed hours are 36. Every other
weekend is required. No call requirements. Required certifications
include BLS and NIH. Two or more years of experience are needed.
Rotation to other PCU and Med Surg units may occur. Unit has 25
beds. Patient ratios are 4-5:1, with a worst-case scenario of 6:1.
Equipment includes Alaris pumps, PCA, lumbar drains, JP drains,
wound vacs, and EEG. EMR system used is Cerner. Preferred skill set
includes EMU (seizure monitoring) experience and Neuro experience.
The unit primarily cares for Neuro patients. Ideal personality
traits include accountability, good interpersonal skills, teamwork,
and punctuality. Dress code requires galaxy blue scrubs.
Unacceptable attire will be noted. This position is within an
academic medical setting recognized for advanced heart care
