  • KY/Compact License
  • 2 years experience
  • Epic experience
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • IV Certification preferred
  • 2 years previous med-surge experience preferred In need of a Night shift RN for the Observation Medical Unit (essentially a Med Surg Unit)**Cannot apply if they have been perm in the last 10 years at Owensboro or Twin Lakes**EPIC experience is requiredStart date: ASAPLength: 13 weeks, with extension optionsShift: 3x12HR Nights (19:00 - 07:00)i. Licensure and certifications - KY LICENSE or COMPACT License and BLS and ACLS required also IV Certification is preferredii. Experience - 2 years previous med-surge experience preferred*EPIC experience REQUIRED*Specific details: The observation unit at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is a 24-bed unit that focuses on observational care of a variety of diagnoses requiring additional diagnostic testing and monitoring to determine the best course of treatment for the patient. The majority of our patient population is cardiac, respiratory and general medical. In addition, we care for COVID positive symptomatic patients, titratable cardiac drips, patients from post-procedural and outpatient infusion areas in an overflow capacity.
