Locums - Owensboro, Kentucky, OB/GYN - Hospitalist Job

• Clinical Role:

  • Shifts per block needed to be filled: 8 X 24-hour shifts
  • Shift Schedule: 24 hour shifts only (7a-7a)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Truly Board eligible and/or board certified OBGYN
  • NICU Level: III with 20 beds
  • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 172
  • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 10
  • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 298
  • MFM onsite? Yes, 2 full time MFM providers
  • New residency program 2 days a week
  • In-house Anesthesia? Yes,
  • 24/7 8 OBED rooms, 3 OR rooms
  • Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: Yes
  • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
  • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist: Yes
  • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
  • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
  • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: No
  • Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes
  • Close knit community where private docs are very involved. Low number of unassigned patients.
  • Active KY License required
