SQF Level III, innovative manufacturer of fresh and frozen packaged
Sandwiches, Meal Kits, Breakfast Bars, Wraps, Pastas, Pizzas,
Bagels and Biscuits suppling the Retail, Convenience Store, School
Food Service and private label industries.
1st Shift. 6AM - 2:30PM M-F.
Manage the Quality Department of 4, the plant's Quality Control
(QC) and Quality Assurance programs. --Ensure compliance with
company, customer and government procedures. --Inspect and audit
the operation in all phases of quality performance, raw materials,
production, packaging, distribution, HACCP, GMP's. --Directs
inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over
materials, facilities, and products.
Guide the plant's SQF certification program.-- Perform customer
audits and annual SQF audits.
Develops and maintains HACCP plan, Pest Control, Self-Inspection,
Supplier Management, Safety, Microbio Testing and Defense.
Works with USDA on preoperational or operational inspections.
Conducts pre-shipment review, CCP's, validation studies, report on
deficiencies for GMP's, HACCP and SSOP's.
Performs microbiological tests on finished products, environmental
and direct food contact surfaces.
Investigates and responds to Customer complaints and write
corrective actions for complaints.
Work with Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper
housekeeping and maintenance of facility, equipment and
Work with vendors to ensure quality products, associated equipment
and materials meet established quality standards.
BS - Science related.
3+ years' of quality management experience in a food-manufacturing
Working knowledge of quality process control, HACCP, SQF, BRC,
SSOP, SOP, GMPs, USDA and FDA standards.
