service. Wright Implement is actively searching for an Assistant
Service Manager for the Bowling Green, KY Service
Department.Purpose:Manages turf service operations within the
dealership to maximize return on investment by optimizing Turf
Service Department processes to ensure internal and external
customer satisfaction. Grows profitable service labor sales and
exercises disciplined expense control. Attracts, retains, and
effectively engages department personnel.Responsibilities:Develops,
communicates, enforces and monitors effective Turf Service
Department processes to ensure internal and external customer
satisfactionAssists in the creation of annual Turf Service
Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization's
financial and operational objectivesAssists in the development and
execution of the Turf Service Department marketing plan and
monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goalsAssists
in the coordination of customer clinics, field days, and related
promotional eventsSubmits all service warranty and Product
Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe to receive
maximum creditSchedules and assigns jobs and work areas to
employees in the Turf Service Department according to their skills
and knowledgeReviews repair orders for completeness and accuracy
prior to customer billing; processes and closes repair orders in a
timely mannerEnsures all departmental tools, equipment, and
vehicles are in good working orderManages recruiting, staffing and
employee development activities for employees reporting to this
positionOther duties as assigned by supervisorKnowledge, Skills,
Abilities, & OtherAbility to use standard desktop load applications
such as Microsoft Office and internet functionsAbility to write and
speak effectively to individuals and groupsAbility to analyze and
interpret internal reportsAbility to work extended hours and
weekendsFamiliar with John Deere and competitive productsBasic
understanding of financial principles relative to Service
Department operationsExcellent customer service
skillsRequirements:3+ years experience in Service Department or
related operationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent
