We hope to see you as part of our team's future success!--This position will report to the Director of Human Resources - Mizkan America and is primarily responsible for managing, controlling, organizing, and directing the human resources activities for multiple manufacturing plants, with the main responsibility for the Owensboro, KY plant.-- Such activities include, but are not limited to, change management, recruitment, record keeping, compensation, regulatory/policy compliance, training, positive employee relations, complaint resolution, organizational planning, and performance management.-- The Senior Human Resources Manager will serve as the H.R. Business Partner to the Plant Managers and staff and will participate in regular leadership meetings and provide guidance on all employee relations and site communications.-- The Senior Human Resources Manager will also participate in and provide leadership to support the Mizkan Style Management principles. The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for staying current on all federal, state and local laws, guidelines and regulations.-- This role is part of the plant leadership teams and will support company-wide initiatives, goals and objectives. This role will perform other work and duties as assigned.--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:In addition to duties listed above, the Human Resources Manager will also:Provide advice and counsel to management appropriately balancing the role of company representative and employee advocate.Coach and guide employees with their questions, concerns, or issues. Manage employee relations activities including controversial and sensitive issues, policy interpretation, and positive employee relations.Provide leadership to ensure effective change management and engagement with the workforce for the purpose of communication, pulse checks and satisfaction surveys.Support the development and execution of employee training and development plans and by leveraging the Mizkan training capabilities, e-learning, and external professional development resources. Deliver training programs as needed.Provide leadership and supports the process for development of annual performance objectives and drive the performance management process.Conduct complaint resolution process and/or investigation of ethics or other complaints in concert with the Plant Managers and/or corporate leadership. Provide advice, coaching and guidance on corrective action (disciplinary) matters. Interface with Corporate HR Leadership on suggested outcomes.Manage the sites' on-boarding and exit process.Assures HR policy and legal compliance. Maintains knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and contractors with legal team.Keep abreast of legislation and industry trends; and ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations including FLSA and EEO Responsible for plants' recruitment needs with focus on site leadership and professional recruitment needs, employee retention programs and succession planning.Provide oversight and counsel to plant Office Administrators on hourly and internal recruitment programs, as needed.Is accountable for overall maintenance and accuracy in all sites' payroll, personnel and employee medical record keeping requirements and reports.Input and manage employee and payroll information in ADP.Participates in special projects to support human resources strategies and business objectives.Responsible for management of the Company's OFCCP/AAP program and related record keeping. As required, provides reports and analysis in collaboration with Corporate Human Resources on compensation and benefit surveys data. Manage and provide leadership and development to direct reports.--SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Business PartneringSelf-Directed/Self ManagingPositive Employee Relations and Union Avoidance Meeting Facilitation and Employee EngagementStrong Written and Verbal Communication Skills Investigation, Problem Solving and Decision MakingComplaint HandlingIndividual Performance Development Compensation and Benefits Analysis Salary and Hourly RecruitmentAttention to Detail/AccuracyResponsivenessTraining program development and presentation--QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field is required; PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification is a preferred.7 - 10 Years Human Resource Management/Business Partner experience with responsibility for 100 or more employees in a team-based non-union manufacturing environmentMulti-site experience required.Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop direct reports.Change management and positive employee relations experience is required.A thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices including employee relations, employment law, Affirmative Action and EEO compliance, benefits, compensation, and recruiting.Experience creating Affirmative Action Plans required.Outstanding written and interpersonal communications skills are essential.-- Demonstrated strong presentation and training skills with proven ability to lead and motivate others.Strong business acumen, values and good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Experience with ADP Vantage preferred.High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Ability to work with all levels of management and develop constructive working relationships.Versatility, flexibility, drive enthusiasm and multitasking skills are required.Ability to travel up to 15% is required.--#LI-KD1
