supported, and empowered. About You A bachelor’s degree in Civil or
Transportation Engineering At least 5 years of experience in
traffic engineering and/or traffic planning projects Professional
Engineer (P.E.) licensure required Experience in planning,
scheduling, coordinating, and conducting transportation and traffic
engineering work Strong knowledge of engineering principles,
practices, and techniques applicable to traffic engineering
Excellent explanation, persuasion, and negotiation skills, with the
ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
Proficiency in Synchro, Excel, and OpenRoads Designer (ORD);
knowledge of HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, ArcGIS, CUBE, and TransCAD is
desired Strong understanding and practical experience applying HCM,
MUTCD, AASHTO, and DOT’s Policies and Procedures, including
relevant policy manuals Most importantly, you bring genuine

to do great work with great people. About the Role As a Traffic
Engineer , you will: Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate
transportation engineering projects, including traffic impact
analyses, traffic forecasting, roundabout feasibility studies,
parking studies, signal timing, access management, intersection
safety analysis, operational studies, and corridor studies Prepare
engineering reports, plans, and specifications for major projects,
including production and review of engineering drawings based on
applicable traffic calculations Prepare project materials such as
fact sheets and presentations to clearly communicate project
information to stakeholders and the public Supervise less
experienced engineers and technical support personnel as part of
project teams Coordinate project activities with clients,
contractors, outside consultants, and firm staff Communicate and
interact effectively with project team members, clients, review
agencies, and other stakeholders Prepare project scopes, schedules,
and budgets, and assist with overall project management Your work
