Description Position at Just for Kids Early Learning Center Just for Kids Ashland City is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teacher s to support the following age groups: Toddlers To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous childcare experience! Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center. Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative , and physical development . Take direction, accept constructive criticism , and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program . Creat e and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running , and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
