experienced, dynamic Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation at
the rank of Associate or Full Professor. - Work Assignment will be
approximately 70% clinical, 10% Teaching, 20% Research - The ideal
candidate should be a proven successful leader with on-going
transformational practice innovation and the ability to build
relationships. - This individual will join an established abdominal
organ transplant program and have a proven track record in all
aspects of the liver transplantation process, including significant
organ donor experience, while playing an integral role in the
continued growth of the program. - This recruitment will be
essential in a strategic effort to expand our liver transplant
program in the region. - Fellowship training in an ASTS accredited
abdominal transplantation program and board certification in
general surgery are required. - Additional surgical skills and
interests in areas outside of transplantation are desirable. -
Opportunities to participate in the training of surgical residents
and clinical research are available. - Preferred candidates should
have experience in leadership, program building, and quality
assurance performance improvement (QAPI) while working as a member
of a traditional transplantation multidisciplinary team.
