Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: CVICU
experience Open heart recovery within 24 hours experience
Hemodynamic (Swan) experience Description: This position is for a
Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU. The shift is from 6:45 PM
to 7:15 AM. The role requires working with cardiac patients on a
high acuity floor. Patient ratios are 1:1 or 1:2. The unit is
equipped with CRRT, IABP, IMPELLA, ECMO, and VADs. Experience with
ECMO, CRRT, IABPs, Impella, and VAD is preferred. A positive and
uplifting attitude is essential. The facility provides surgical
scrubs for the dress code. This role does not require on-call
responsibilities. Weekend shifts will be required every other
weekend. Candidates must be flexible to float to other ICU units as
needed. A strong work ethic is essential for success in this
fast-paced environment.
